Practice: Bankruptcy Law, Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation
James Collins was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001. Following his admission to the state bar, he was later admitted to all three federal districts within the State of Florida. Mr. Collins obtained his juris doctorate of law from St. Thomas University School of Law and also graduated from the University of Florida with honors with a degree in Criminology and Law.
Since being admitted to practice in multiple areas of the law, Mr. Collins has represented both companies and people from all walks of life. Mr. Collins highly values and believes in avid communication with his clients and speaks multiple languages including Spanish and Portuguese.
Further while his current focus is on Personal Injury Protection and Mortgage Foreclosure Defense, he has also worked in Bankruptcy, Florida Worker's Compensation, the Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers Act, and Home/Condominium Owners Defense throughout the state of Florida. A multilingual and multidisciplinary practice has provided him with a greater insight into the prosecution/litigation of his cases and serving the interests of his clients.
